I finally got all of them materials from the LSO printed. I went to Staples and they had it all bound and laminated. I gave it a quick glance through and found out that they didn't have some of the dividers in the correct places. Had to get them to fix it.

I managed to get through the video for Civil Procedure yesterday. They did a few sample questions during the exam. I have already gotten the impression that if you look at the fact that it's open book and multiple choice, and are expecting questions like :

What does rule 3.2-4 of the rules of professional conduct guide an attorney to do?

A. Get the most money
B. Sue the most people
C. Encourage the client to compromise or settle a dispute whenever it is possible to do so on a reasonable basis and shall discourage the client from commencing or continuing useless legal proceedings
D. Avoid Sexual Relations with the client

You might be in for a bit of a surprise when it comes to Bar Exam time. From what I understand the questions are more like:

You are practicing in Toronto - you are approached by Priyanka who is very distraught because she is feels she was wronged by Jimbo and wants to sue for defamation of character. Priyanka has been so busy that she was unable to get to see an attorney until 20 days before the date of the statute of limitations. You do not think there is sufficient time for you to prepare a statement of claim, you as the moving party can file :

A. Notice of intend to Defend

B. Motion of Application

C. Motion in Limine

D. A notice of Action

I am thinking about buying Indicies for the exam. However, the places I see seem to have Indicies for last years materials, and i don't know how much they have changed.

I have to admit the volume of material is overwhelming.
